Robert H. McLaren
Bob graduated from LaSalle University in 1978 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he worked for ten years in the Philadelphia and Bermuda offices. He became a CPA in 1979 and has been licensed in Pennsylvania since then. From 1988 through 1991, he worked as the Regional Capital Projects Controller for the NorthEast Region of Waste Management of North America Inc. Subsequently, he was hired as Controller for American Travellers Life Insurance Company. In 1995, Bob formed McLaren & Co., P.C., a Bucks County CPA practice serving businesses and individuals. Beginning in 2024, Bob merged his firm with Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter.
His past experiences in leadership include serving as Treasurer and a Director of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce (LBCCC), a member of the Advisory Board of the LBCCC Leadership Bucks County Program, Chairman of the LBCCC Government Relations Committee, President of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council, President of the Pennsbury Scholarship Foundation, and a member of the Finance and Investment Committees of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Penndel, PA.
Bob has been active in the past in local youth soccer, baseball and basketball through the Langhorne Athletic Association and the Our Lady of Grace CYO. He resides in Langhorne with his wife, Terry, and together they enjoy watching their nine grandchildren grow.
