John G. Gilbert | CPA
Mr. Gilbert began his accounting career with Haskins & Sells after graduating from Villanova University in 1972. He became a partner of Gilbert & Gilbert in 1977. In 1992, his firm merged with Murray, Wilson and Hunter, thereby creating Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter LLC. Mr. Gilbert has been the managing partner of GWH since inception in 1992.
Certified in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPA’s His experience includes advising privately held businesses and individuals on various management, accounting, financial and tax issues. Mr. Gilbert also serves on the board of the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation in Langhorne, PA.
Stephen M. Hill | CPA, MBA
Steve Hill, a Partner of GWH Wealth Advisors, LLP, is a graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Education. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Temple University.
Mr. Hill manages the daily operations of the Firm and works closely with the team of accountants. He has fifteen years’ experience working for the Internal Revenue Service and then another sixteen years working for Germantown Academy where he served as an Administrator managing the Operations and Auxiliary Programs for the school.
Mr. Hill was also the head coach for the varsity wrestling team. He lives in Montgomery County with his wife Christa and their combined seven children.
Michael T. Cice | CRPC®, MRFC®
With more than 35 years of experience as a financial advisor, Michael works with a wide range of individual and corporate clients. He began his career in 1980 and has worked with industry-leading firms such Chubb Securities, Jefferson Pilot, and Lincoln Financial Group prior to forming GWH Wealth Advisors, LLP.
Mr. Cice focuses on investment, retirement, and estate planning to help individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations grow, preserve and transfer wealth. As a multi-year winner of the Five Star Wealth Manager award, Mr. Cice creates strategies tailored to his clients’ unique circumstances and objectives. Keeping the long-range always in view, he seeks to inspire confidence in all chapters of his clients’ lives: today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Mr. Cice received his BS from Temple University and holds both the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation and the Master Registered Financial Consultant® designation.
Christopher M. Cice | CIMA®, AIF®
Christopher Cice is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at GWH Wealth Advisors, LLP, where he provides experience in designing asset management strategies that address the complex wealth management challenges of each client. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, Christopher uses his training to help him leverage the vast industry resources needed to ensure that GWH provides the advice, attention and care that each client deserves.
Mr. Cice has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. A graduate of The University of Scranton, Christopher holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
Mr. Cice received the CIMA® certification from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.
Jen Quiring is a Relationship Manager at GWH where she is responsible for being the first point of contact for all clients. She prepares and processes paperwork for new business as well as service requests, and can be contacted for any on going questions or concerns.
Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management in 2015. Her background includes Client Relationship Management for Prudential Group Insurance, Office Management, Bookkeeping, Real Estate, and Teaching. She has her Real Estate license in 4 states as well as a certification to teach pre-licensing in PA.
Jen has 3 semi-adult children who keep her guessing, enjoys listening to crime novels, baking, and finding the positive side of life with laughter, among family friends and co-workers.

Nancy D. Chaney
Nancy Chaney is a graduate of Elizabethtown College, located in Elizabethtown, PA, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in May 1978. She became a CPA in May 1981 and is certified in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She serves as treasurer and board member of the Union Cemetery in Richboro, PA. Also, she’s a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s and Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals and a board member of Needlework Guild of America. Her main area of expertise is servicing small businesses and individuals for their tax and accounting needs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and cross stitch with her husband.
Charlene A. Courtney | CPA
Mrs. Courtney is a graduate of Philadelphia University located in Philadelphia, PA and holds a BA in Accounting. Both during and after college, she worked in an administrative capacity before eventually pursuing a career in public accounting. Mrs. Courtney has worked for over 27 years as a public accountant, 24 of which were spent as a staff accountant at Murray, Wilson and Hunter and Gilbert, Wilson and Hunter LLC. Certified in Pennsylvania, she is a member of the American Institutes of CPA’s, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s.
Her experience includes, but is not limited to, expertise in the areas of trust/estate taxation, complex multi-state tax-related issues as well as accounting enterprise software solutions where she provides hands-on training for clients. Mrs. Courtney currently serves on the board of a non-profit organization as their treasurer.
William F. Davis | CPA
Mr. Davis joined Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter in 2004. He has over 30 years of public accounting and income tax experience. Bill graduated from Drexel University in 1988 and became a CPA in 1998. His experience includes advising small businesses and individuals on various management, accounting, financial and tax issues.
Chandler C. Drea
Chandler Drea is a graduate of West Chester University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Her primary experience includes customer service support, individual and business tax preparation. She assists with day-to-day administrative duties supporting the accounting staff by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and preparing/processing tax forms.
Matthew C. Gilbert
Mr. Gilbert has been working for Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter LLC over the last 8 years. He assists with day-to-day administrative duties supporting the accounting staff. His primary experience includes customer service support, individual and business tax preparation.
Christine M. Mraz
Ms. Mraz began her career with Murray, Wilson and Hunter in 1988 as part of the administrative staff. Over the course of her career with Murray, Wilson and Hunter she grew from an administrative role into an accounting position and obtained a degree from Delaware Valley College in 2001.
Since her graduation from college, she has worked as a staff accountant for Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter LLC. Her experience includes bookkeeping services and the preparation of corporate, partnership and individual tax returns.
Mark S. Shapiro
Mark S. Shapiro is a graduate of Drexel University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has 35 years of experience in tax and accounting and has been working at Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter LLC for 10 years. His area of expertise is advising small businesses and individuals, as well as the preparation and review of the business and individual returns. In his spare time, he’s a sports enthusiast and coached his two sons for many years in multiple sports.
Frank L. Thurber, Jr.
Mr. Frank Thurber, Jr. has worked full time for Gilbert, Wilson and Hunter since January 1, 1981. He is currently an accountant with our firm. A majority of his clients are in the construction and home building industry.
Nancy E. Conner-Ward
Nancy Conner-Ward is a graduate of Bucks County Community College. She has 35 years of experience working with small businesses and corporate accounts. She joined Gilbert, Wilson & Hunter LLC in 2020 and assists with processing monthly books, payroll taxes, personal, and corporate tax returns. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and reading.
Kimberly A. Zisa, CPA
Kimberly Zisa is a graduate of Montclair State University, located in New Jersey, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She became a CPA in March of 1994 and is certified in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her 30 years of public accounting and income tax experience includes advising small businesses, individuals, and charitable organizations in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She joined the Gilbert Wilson and Hunter team in 2018 and works closely with a wide variety of individual and business clients assisting with various accounting, financial, and tax issues. She enjoys reading, running and the beach, and most of all spending time with her husband, Michael, and their three sons.
